Installation Instructions:
1. Place the Locator Plate, rib side on top of the wide side of the Anchor Plate.
2. Fasten the two plates together with two 10-32 screws (provided) going down through the Anchor Plate, leaving the two plates approximately 1/2 inch apart.
3. Insert the Anchor Plate into the stake pocket with a rocking motion.
4. The Locator Plate will rest on top of the pickup truck stake pocket almost flush with the bed rail.
5. Tighten the two screws until snug. It does not require over tightening.
Note: When installing rack or other accessory to Pocket Loks®, make sure studs are clean. Using a dirty stud may cause stud to seize up in Anchor Plate. Do not torque attaching bolt or stud over 18 foot pounds.
When installing the Pocket Lock Assembly into the truck’s stake pocket, the hole in the Anchor Plate are intentionally offset (as shown at left). One end is longer than the other. Install the longer end toward the rear of the vehicle in the rear stake pockets and toward the front of the vehicle in front stake pockets.
