The Shell Shelf Pack from Tailgater consists of one Bottom Standard Shelf (without divider slots), one Center Shelf with divider slots, two Shelf End Panels, and all mounting hardware. Tools required for this installation include: one 7/16” wrench, one 1/2” wrench or a socket wrench with the equivalent sockets.
Assembly and Installation Instructions:
1. Assemble shelf unit as shown below in Figure 1.
2. Begin by laying down one Shelf End.
3. Next, attach Bottom Shelf to the lower end of the Shelf End Panel with supplied hardware.
4. Attach the Center Divided Shelf in the desired position to the Shelf End.
5. Attach the second Shelf End Panel to the Bottom Standard Shelf, Center Divided Shelf.
6. Insert 1 1/2" Hex bolt into the existing Bolt Track located in the Shell Roof Channel.
7. Insert two of the Twist Lok Bolt Tracks into the Shell Roof Channel.
8. Between the Shell End Panel and the now three hanging bolts, place a Channel Stake Plate. (You will probably need help to do this, as all of the Stake Plates must be placed at this time.
9. Attach the Shelf using the 5/16" Flat Washers and Nex Nuts.
10. Add a Plastic Protection Strip to the front edge of each shelf.
11. Attach the Front End Brace to the Shell Shelf using the 1/4" - 20 x 5/8" Carriage Bolts, 1/4" Flat Washers, and 1/4" - 20 Nex Nuts.
12. Attach the Front End Brace to the Shell Channel using Spring nuts with a 5/16" -18 x 1 1/4" Hex Bolt and 5/16" Washer.
