| Installation Instructions: Short Ladder System (SLS10001, SLS10003) | |||
| The Short Ladder System requires the use of the VersaRack™ Cross Bar. Install the VersaRack™ Cross Bar by following the instructions provided with it, before installing the Short Ladder System. | |||

| Installation Instructions: Before beginning installation, review figure 1, which illustrates the completed Short Ladder System and identifies its parts. 1. Slide three (3) Bolt Tracks into the bottom channel of one of the End Channel Assemblies as shown in figure 2. Some force may be required. 2. Slide one (1) Bolt Track into the second End Channel Assembly. 3. Slide two (2) Bolt Tracks into the Long Rail as shown in figure 2. 4. Using supplied 5/16-18 x 1.25 Hex Bolts and installed Bolt Tracks, attach the two End Channel Assemblies to the Long Rail with the two provided Brackets. Be sure to use the middle Bolt Track in the second End Channel Assembly. |

| 5. Attach Ladder Hold Down Cable to rear of Short Ladder System with the provided 5/16-18x1.5” Hex Bolt as shown in figure 5. Center the Long Rail at each end before tightening the hardware. See figures 3, 4.
6. Loosely install the Ladder Stop Brackets on one End Channel Assembly using supplied hardware and installed bolt tracks. See figure 5. |

| 7. Use four (4) Spring Nut and provided hardware to mount the entire assembly to your VersaRack™. See figure 6. The VersaRack™ Cross Bar may need to be adjusted to the proper position. 8. Set your short ladder inside the Short Ladder System to test fit. Now adjust and tighten the Ladder Stop Brackets to hold the ladder in place. See figure 5. |

| 9. Use a pad lock to secure ladder with Ladder Hold Down Cable. 10. Tap in the four (4) End Caps, one into each end of both End Channel Assemblies. See figure 1. 11. Mount the Third Brake Light Kit according to provided instructions. Installation is now complete.. |
