| Installation Instructions: Third Brake Light (TTL10001) |
| Installation Instructions: The Third Brake Light consists of the brake light asembly, ten degree plastic wedge, fifteen feet of wire, cord clips, and hardware. The light mounts at the center of the rear cross channel (see truck over-view below) using the supplied hardware. 1. First measure the rear channel and mark centerline horizonaly and verticaly. 2. Use plastic wedge provided as template to mark mounting holes. 3. Use apropriate sized drill bit to drill one large center hole and two small mounting holes according to template. 4. Before mounting brake light, route wiring through center hole, inside the cross channel, across the rear channel, and down the street side leg. 5. Next, insert two philips head pan screws through brake light assembly and plastic wedge and into cross rail. 6. Finnaly use provided electrical connectors to attach power and ground wires to vehicle’s electrical system. Use the splice connector to attach the power. Use the ground lug to attack ground wire to vehicle’s body. Cord clips are provided to keep wires neat. |
