Installation Instructions:
The two drawer system comes completely pre-assembled and ready to be mounted to the truck bed floor. To install, place the system in the truck bed, and remove both drawer(s) carefully. WARNING DO NOT BEND DRAWER FRAME CROSS BARS! Note: pull lock pins to remove drawers. Place frame 2" from rear of bed. Mark and drill through bed floor using a 3/8" drill bit. IMPORTANT! Use drill stop and BE AWARE OF FUEL TANK LOCATION!! It is best to drill four outside holes first placing a bolt in each hole as you go. Before you bolt the frame down, place a support block under each of the rail corners. Note: support blocks are 6-1" square aluminum blocks with adhesive tabs. Now bolt the frame to the floor using the flat head bolts, washers and hex nuts. IMPORTANT! At the cab end of each drawer you will need to bolt a steel angle to the cross bar with hex bolts. These angles are positive drawer stops. When the drawer is moved to the closed position, it should stop and latch at the same time. Finally, place the plastic wear strips, two per drawer, to the tail gate. The pattern shown below is for a Two Drawer System. Tighten all bolts to 18 ft.lb. Now when you replace the drawer(s) they should be ready for use.
